Yorkshire Three Peaks Walk
Undoubtably one of the classic walks in the Yorkshire Dales and used by many as a fundraising event. The Three Peaks Walk is very demanding and takes in the summits of Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough in a circular route of approx 25 miles.
It starts from Horton-in-Ribblesdale which is only 4 miles from the campsite. Remember to clock out and back in at the Cafe to lodge your time and become a member of the Three Peaks of Yorkshire Club if you manage to complete the walk in under 12 hrs.
